My son came here after being hospitalized at Hoag in Newport Beach for pneumonia. Overall he was treated well by nursing staff and doctors. My one complaint is that it seemed difficult at times to get to speak to doctors even after requesting nurse(s) to see or call me. I requested to speak to cardiologist about medication prescribed and the nurse in charge questioned why I needed to speak to them. My mother was transferred from St Jude in Fullerton to this Kindred Hospital Brea to recover from pneumonia. . We were told this was a Covid free facility and she needed a couple of weeks to recover . She was getting better doing physical therapy and then took turn for the worst the same week she was supposed supposed to come home . We think she got Covid but she was not tested at the facility.
