Our Experience with Gentiva 2022 was outstanding, the staff, I can not give enough praise to each one of them. It’s been over 2 years with my father’s passing , and Gentiva will have a special place in my heart. I can’t thank Gentiva enough for providing such wonderful care for my mom over the past several weeks while she was on hospice at her assisted living community. Hospice is a difficult decision to make for a loved one but I am so thankful for the care, warmth and support that we received. A special “Thank You” to Kristee, mom’s primary nurse, and Rose, social worker, for the dedication and comfort they provided our family during this difficult time.
I am very grateful for the care Gentiva Hospice provided my mom during her last months. Although dementia tried to strip her of dignity and self, the hospice team would not allow it. They advocated for her and supported her with physical, mental, and spiritual care. My mom was a social person and when family could not be with her, the hospice team visited her and talked about her life and gave her comfort. I can't say enough about the compassionate and responsive care provided by the Gentiva team. Placing a loved one on hospice care is a decision no family wants to make. From my first phone call with Bob, my mind and my heart were at ease. Bob validated my concerns and provided thorough details on their services and the expected next steps. We watched several caring and attentive individuals interact with my Nan over the next few weeks. They kept us informed and provided comfort during a very difficult time.
