I cannot comment on the level of care offered at Kindred Harbor because these folks took weeks to respond to my initial intake, and I moved on to another, more responsive therapy group. After the initial intake with Jennifer (who is amazing) I waited through the Thanksgiving holiday and remained patient as I’m sure most therapeutic offices are busier during the holiday season. Dr. Taj has been amazing! I love her friendly style, and working with her in EMDR & trauma therapy has really changed my life. I am eternally grateful.
I have been seeing Dr. Taj for about two years now after starting EMDR therapy to address a bizarre and sudden phobia I developed that impacted my ability to work. That issue has been completely resolved and we are now exploring other areas in my life that can use work. I would definitely recommend the practice. Staff is caring, down-to-earth, non-judgmental, and inclusive.
Dr Taj is a very warm and welcoming therapist that took care of how I felt, we talked and worked through a bit of what I was going through and showed that They cared, I plan to go back when I can but it's definitely a place I recommend for anyone seeking help especially for my LGBTQ and other identifying peoples
