I reached out to this facility for mental health services on 3/16. Madison emailed me back on 3/18 and stated they are 2-3 weeks out in wait time. I said that’s fine and yes I’ll wait. My insurance doesn’t kick in until April 1st (which is what I put on the documentation on their request form) Madison emailed on the 19th and stated my insurance provider said it’s not active yet, I said I know it will be by the time I have an appointment/services. I cannot comment on the level of care offered at Kindred Harbor because these folks took weeks to respond to my initial intake, and I moved on to another, more responsive therapy group. After the initial intake with Jennifer (who is amazing) I waited through the Thanksgiving holiday and remained patient as I’m sure most therapeutic offices are busier during the holiday season. Dr. Taj has been amazing! I love her friendly style, and working with her in EMDR & trauma therapy has really changed my life. I am eternally grateful.
I have been seeing Dr. Taj for about two years now after starting EMDR therapy to address a bizarre and sudden phobia I developed that impacted my ability to work. That issue has been completely resolved and we are now exploring other areas in my life that can use work. I would definitely recommend the practice. Staff is caring, down-to-earth, non-judgmental, and inclusive.
