Today's nurse was was Anna - one of the random nurses and not one of my usual nurses that is familiar with the condition of my wound. She was 45 minutes late; waiting for her daughter to bring her a car. Of course, no call to me about it. She was not in uniform, just well worn jeans and an old-looking top. I have been a Kindred Home Health patient for about two and a half plus years. I have three regular nurses - I appreciate their care very much and they have gotten to know my wound very well; I in turn have gotten to know them, I feel comfortable having them in our home, having them seeing and treat my body. That said, Kindred frequently and intentionally sends out random nurses to my home, even when my regular nurses are on duty.
