Used Old Kinderhook for a business meeting/retreat. Pros: staff was OUTSTANDING, EVERYONE went above and beyond. Always right there when we needed them and showed the utmost hospitality and attentiveness. We chose buffet meals and all were excellent. Big golf vibe but I don't play so no first hand info. Showers had great pressure and temp. Cons: not lake front. Little drive to get to the dock. Bed was too firm for my taste. None of these cons were enough to give less than 5 stars.
I love this golf course
I booked this stay for my softball team in June of 2025 when we played in a tournament at Ballparks National. It was perfect for many reasons: 10 minutes from the complex, plenty to do on site (sand volleyball, lawn games, 2 pools, hot tub, 2 restaurants on site, not a huge hotel so you can find each other /meet up easily, huge areas to gather and eat/drink at your leisure, safe to let the kids roam and it's still on property, and they have small cabins for bigger families that want more space.
