I was thrilled to find Kind Care!! Dr. Stengel was very knowledgeable. She made the time to discuss and inform what I needed to know in order to decide the best care options. My dog is apart of my family and I take her health care very seriously, therefore, it is always a little nerve racking finding a new veterinarian. I feel Kind Care takes her health as seriously as I do. I thought very highly of my last vet facility and didn’t think I’d find one better, but Kind Care proved me wrong. They are organized, professional, and... read more

I took my Yorkie in on 8/30/2020 just for a bruised paw. They took x-rays, nothing broken. Dr Murino put her on a medication called Rimadyl, which was prescribed for pain and inflammation. On the instruction print out, he never indicated any side affects or concerns? When they called 4 days later to see how she was doing, she was not good! Got her in on that Saturday and he discovered open sores on both front paws and huge sores on her ears! My dog almost died!! Then he put her on other medications that were making her worse... read more

Business response:

Ms. Carmine, I am sorry that you had a negative experience. We thought we were on the same page with contacting the manufacturer of Rimadyl in order to help alleviate some of your financial concerns. We respect your decision to seek a second opinion and are glad you found a clinic that better suits your needs. We are also glad that Pookie is feeling better.

I have just recently purchased property in the area and was in need of a vet due to an accident my dog had which resulted in a broken leg. I called Kind Care Animal Hospital and they would not see my dog due to COVID-19 because they were not taking any new patients. I was just reading the reviews and noticed one review that was only a week ago which sounded as though the cat needed to be seen even though he had not been there. It is very sad to me that an animal hospital decides they are not going to help with an injured ani... read more

Business response:

I’m so sorry that we could not see your pet as a new client/patient appointment. Unfortunately since the COVID pandemic has started we have seen an influx of sick patient visits and requests. This has been an issue for the entire veterinary industry. Therefore, we have tried to make sure we do not turn away our current clients and patients. Unfortunately this means that new clients with emergencies may get referred to local emergency clinics or other clinics. I am sorry we could not see your pet at the time you called, and a... read more

I’ve lived in NMB for a year now but never needed a vet until today when our neighborhood cat (he is neutered, he mostly stays at my house but comes and goes as he pleases even though I try to get him to just stay with us 24/7 😅) came to the door with a sand burr in the roof of his mouth! We tried to get it out but couldn’t, it was traumatizing him so I couldn’t force it. But he was miserable, couldn’t eat or drink (and he’s a chonker so he loves to eat 😂) and was just drooling all over himself. So I called Kind Care becau... read more
