RecommendedAlways my first stop before I go to one of the larger hardware stores. Everyone is kind and helpful. Customer service is top notch!
Horrible management. Very rude and not at all friendly. Terrible return policy. This is why I won’t spend another dime there. The floor staff is very friendly and I feel bad for them. Tried to contact store owner and Ace corporate and neither cared at all about my experience. Very sad. I like to shop local but not for that kind of treatment.
Horrible inventory keeping! All they have is empty shelves. Never the right size or type of drill bits, electrical boxes or most anything else. Looks like they are closing. And if they do have it the price is 4 times as much as other stores. Very disappointed.
I went to replace my mower... rather than sell me a new one, the manager suggested I have their repair guy look at it. He repaired it and it runs like new. I appreciated the honesty. He could have easily just sold me he new one.
This is a terrific store. Great customer service. Small business that supports the community. Shop the little guy!
I would personally like to thank the #Ace #Hardware in #Lockport. I called them up and said I was looking to buy bug spary for the #Coal #City tornado relief. I asked if they would give me the best price possible so I could get as much as possible to help as much as possible. With out a 2nd thought the manager said let me look into and call you back.
