The Aldie Volunteer Fire Department in Aldie VA has taken delivery of a John Deere Gator with a Kimtek FD-202 body on the unit. We have found the Kimtek body to be very well constructed and we feel this will serve our community for many years to come!
Kimtek builds a tight, well designed product. We ordered and took delivery of a firelight transport, with 70 gallon water tank, 5 gallon foam tank and foam delivery system, and a 9hp. Darley Pump. This is a beast, and fits beautifully in our 8 year old Kubota RTV 1140. We live in Northern California and are retired firefighters(my husband as Chief, and myself as a captain), and own a 10 acre ranch, where we board horses.
