I saw Dr. Bartosiak for a total left hip replacement. My hip was in a very bad shape. The pain was so bad I couldn’t get in or out of the car without screaming. After losing weight she did a left total hip using robotics. Her and her nurse Symone were really great to work with. I live approximately 100 miles from hospital. Symone scheduled all my presurgery appointments on one day so I only had to make only one trip to St. Louis, prior to surgery. I was kept informed on how my surgery day would be. Text messages during my recovery have been crucial to my speedy and successful recovery. I never felt alone during this experience and often when I wondered what I should be doing or whether I was on the right track, a text message would answer my question before I could ask it. This system is a very supportive benefit and one I greatly appreciate. I'll miss it!!
I felt I was cared for beautifully with my knee replacement. Every question I had was answered. The doctors were great, with excellent and appropriate senses of humor. I especially appreciated the daily texts I got from Dr. Bartosiak’s office. Those tidbits of information really helped me stay on track and keep up my spirits during the long, cold initial recovery period. I would highly recommend Dr. Bartosiak as an orthopedic surgeon.
