Greatly disappointed to be charged a $60 cancellation fee when the scheduler told us that while she could not find our insurance in our file, we could work it out when we got there. As existing customers of Dr. Michel, my wife and I showed up on time for our scheduled, annual eye checkup. Upon checking in, I was surprised to learn that she did not take our current insurance. Dr. Michael is located at the Costco on Hacienda Drive in Vista. I will only take my exams with her. She is so very knowledgeable, professional and nice.. She is especially capable with patients who have macular degeneration. Every time that I need a new eyeglass prescription, I insist on getting an appointment with her. Hugs to her for taking such good care of me and my husband!
Great doctor. Actually the best vision assessment I’ve had in 40 years. My vision is difficult to assess due to an eye condition making it difficult to tell if the lens selection is better or worse in my left eye. The doctor did a very careful review, and explained everything very well.
I have been a patient of Dr. Michel for several years and have always had outstanding care and service. This recent visit was exceptional! Not only did I have a thorough exam but she went out of her way to rush order trial contact lenses for me prior to a trip. I have always been completely satisfied with the care and compassion shown Dr. Michel and her staff and highly recommend them.
She is great, been going there for several years even though I can get it free at Kaiser.
