Dr. Webster is an excellent listener. My appointments are focused on understanding how I'm feeling, symptoms I am having and my behaviors in relation to my symptoms (sleep, eating, supplements, etc.). It is the first time I have felt heard by a physician. He is thoughtful, conscientious, and very interested in me as a human being -- he works toward overall wellness and offers me options. I love that it isn't a 15 minute "slam-bam-thank you ma'am" appointment that I experienced in HMO settings
After certain treatments didn't work, he became increasingly impatient and irritable with me. Sometimes he would make mistakes with my prescriptions and when I emailed him to get them corrected, he seemed irritated. Once, I inquired about a medication. He refused -- saying that medication could be dangerous for my condition. Later, a specialist prescribed me that same medication -- which was very helpful. When I mentioned this to Dr Webster, he said that medication makes perfect sense. Strange.
