Looks like a really nice place to live
The Kiln is an energy efficient building with an entrance door that has a security keypad but do not seal, allowing anyone to saunter in and steal your bike. The building gets so boiling hot you can't be inside of your apt in summer. A shower that holds no hot water and gets icy cold within minutes. Granted the electrical bill was about $20 a month, not bad! Floor plans that make no sense and waste precious space. A complete disinterest in making necessary building updates. A huge step above the neighboring stacked-shoebox developments, but there are some head-scratchers in the design, like dryers that vent lint all over your apartment, a heat-gathering exterior with no efficient AC for the summer months, and wonderful soundproof interior walls combined with flimsy, sound-conducting doors. Overall, not a bad place but with a few tweaks it could have been the best spot to live on Williams.
