Just had my 3 kittens vaccinated & chipped at KVP. It was a great experience. Dr Stephanie is caring, cheerful, and an extremely professional and thorough vet. The staff at KVP are attentive and professional too. I would recommend KVP to you and your pet.
The 'wildlife policy' here is pathetic. Forcing registered and experienced wildlife carers to surrender the animals that we care for in order to get basic wildlife care makes no sense. You're happy to call us to take on the animals handed in to you but unwilling to help those carers when the animals need vet care. Your staff are completely misinformed on laws regarding wildlife and suggesting that they would get in trouble for treating wildlife that is with a registered carer. No level of care for my dog but 12 calls back and forward over two days regarding payment of upcoming surgery. No urgency in regard to my dogs cancer, only urgency to be paid. Will be going to Bundoora from now on, where yes, they are also a business that requires generated profits but they actually show compassion and care for the animals and their best interests.
Very helpful at face value, them became extremely rude over the phone getting pushy about money. Only to then cancel important surgery the same day funds had been approved through vetpay. A huge stuff around and will not be attending ever again
Got there 10 minutes before my 9.30 appt. At 9.55 after repeatedly asking how long and told 5 minutes each time I left. Patronising at best. They sent me a text the business day before reminding me to be on time but did not show me the same courtesy. I will never go there again. The attitude is that my time is not important. My dog was stressed, panting and pacing but they did not care. They said they were running late but were still making appointments.
