I moved into Kilburn Crossing Apartments a few months ago, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision! From day one, the staff has been incredibly welcoming, kind, and responsive. Any time I’ve had a question or needed assistance, they’ve handled it quickly and professionally, always with a smile. I had posted a review previously and since it’s been a few months since we’ve moved in, I’ve decided to delete it and start anew. First of all, the apartments upon moving in seem to be made to look nice on the surface but after a hit you’ll find how sloppily things get replaced/repaired after a previous tenant leaves. We have carpet that isn’t even stapled down, parts of our cabinets that aren’t even attached like the team had just given up because they’d think we’d never notice. The maintenance crew is the reason for this 5 star rating. We moved here in 2013 and it's been improving ever since. While Melvin was great during his tenure, Raul and Emerson has also been a great asset to Kilburn. They oftentimes provide same day service, but when they can't, they return within reasonable time. And rather than making a temporary fix, they usually resolve issues without having to be called again just months later for the same issue. We have enjoyed the exceptional customer service over the last few years.
Not a great place to live, a lot of mold and mildew behind the walls. You have to be really careful about the apartment itself, as they will nickel and dine you charges. It's just not a place that you want to find yourself at. As long as it continues to try and remodel and revamp it would be okay but just doesn't seem to be doing that anytime soon.
We moved in to Kilburn Crossing at the end of March, things have gone very well. We love our apartment, Abigail has been extremely helpful and responsive. The maintenance staff has been on top of any issue that has come up. We love the grounds and wide open spaces for our grandchildren to run around, and I am 5 minutes from work. Very happy!
