I am new to the area, coming from Hopkins doctors I was very nervous. The staff was very nice, made me feel very comfortable. They were patient and kind with my kids and listened to my concerns. I will be returning for urgent visits for sure !
No medical institution is perfect these days, but I was really impressed by Kids Street. Separate waiting area for pediatric patients, so I wasn’t self-conscious trying to keep my kids quiet around non-parents . We did not wait long, and Kara, PA was really engaging and helped my four year old feel comfortable with his exam and minor procedure. Always a good experience
Quoting the website: "We highly encourage patients to use credit or debit when possible, but we can accomodate all patients." Unfortunately this statement did not apply to my 16 month old today. Disappointed. I have been here maybe 3 or 4 times before and each time had a good experience. Even though my insurance is apparently now out of network. Just went to kids street urgent care. We went on a holiday which I understand can bring longer wait times, but this just seemed excessive. We waited 2 hours to be seen, and that was with prior booking online. Once we got brought back, care was sufficient and both the nurse and PA we saw were nice, but honestly extremely slow. I’m all for quality care but I don’t understand what took so long to do everything. The bathrooms were also very unclean and the fridge in the waiting room was empty.
