I was at kidspeace back in the late 70's when they were called Homestead. I was labeled most likely to fail They thought I'd end up dead an addict or institutialized. I didn't... Back then complex- PTSD hadn't been heard of and the effects physical, mental and emotional abuse can have on a child or the symptoms of it.
