I've been taking my children to Dr. Bliss for 17 years. She is kind, caring and patient with the children. I am always able to get an appt. The Garner waiting room is small, but I've never waited for more than 10 minutes to be put into an exam room. Dr. Bliss spends quite a bit of time in the exam room. We've never felt like she was rushing us.
When I first started taking my son to kids care as a new born I loved this place. Jana is the BEST!! Then the office let her go and shortly after all the doctors were gone. The new Dr. they hired is extremely rude and not kid friendly AT ALL! We went for a sick appointment today and first she tried to accuse me of lying, then realized she was wrong. My daughter has been going to this doctor's office since she was four months old; she is now 7 years old. Since she was about four, every September and/or December I have to take her to the doctor because a mild cough quickly develops into bronchitis, even after giving her over the counter medicine and hourly breathing treatments. When i first switched my kids to them, they were great, but recently.. not even close. I called in August to set up physicals for my kids. I was told i would have to call back in October to do so. When I call in October, i am told that they are not doing any physicals at all until march due to Flu season. Some of the doctors are not good with deal with sick kids. Having decent service at the front desk is a hit or miss. Wait time is good though.
