Rita worked with my son for over four years on various issues mostly related to self-control, impulsivity, peer relationships, and emotional expression. Starting from age 6, he was able to engage with Rita in various ways. I was always amazed at how versatile she was in her techniques, and she was often excited to try out new ideas. Rita was so caring and gentle, but knew when to push a little bit. I really respected her ideas and her approach.

I am a therapist in the Metrowest area. I have known Rita Vatcher for several years. She one of the best child and family therapists that I know. I refer families and children to her on a regular basis. She is caring, passionate about her work and very ethical. I know that she focuses primarily on the welfare of children who see her and that she works very well with parents and entire family system. I completely endorse her work.

Rita has been amazing for our family! We are so lucky to have found her! When our doctor recommended play therapy we had no idea what this meant, Rita made therapy and talking through emotions fun for our son! We highly recommend her to any families struggling!

Rita is an awesome therapist for kids. She knows how to engage kids to let them open up and share feelings in an enviroment they feel safe in. She is easy to work with and super helpful. Would definitly recommend to a friend or family!
