We had such a lovely experience at Kiddies Kutz in Shirley, Birmingham! The staff were absolutely amazing — so kind, patient and made my son feel completely at ease during his first haircut. I recently took my daughter to this place for a haircut, and I have to say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! Usually, my daughter gets quite anxious at salons, but she was absolutely thrilled here. The moment we walked in, the atmosphere was so inviting and kid-friendly. The salon is incredibly clean, spacious, and beautifully designed. There are separate corners that cater to kids, making it a fun and safe environment. Such a lovely, welcoming place for kids! The hairdresser was really patient with my 2-year-old (who like many other 2 year olds I believe!) finds haircuts very distressing. He was given a drink, lollipop, toy, sticker, and lots of reassurance, and the hairdresser stayed calm and kind throughout. The play area is fantastic — my son loved relaxing there afterwards. His hair looks great, and after a good bath, he was all smiles :) .

Had an amazing experience with my two year olds first hair cut. We were apprehensive as she hates her hair being touched and brushed usually. We had nothing to worry about! She loved it and sat all the way through in the digger. Lovely, friendly and so personalised. She had a great time and we will be back!

This was a great experience! Highly recommend taking your little ones here. I have taken my children age 11(boy) , 9(girl) and 7(boy) . The hairdresser is amazing, she interacted with the children really well. I have been to many barbers and hair salons but this one is the one I'll be sticking to. A lovely clean play area, great staff with loads of little accessories and more to purchase on your way out.
