Poor selling experience I brought some clothes and baby bedding to sell here and was very disappointed by the $ amount that I received and the lack of items that they were willing to buy. I had some maternity tops that I bought there about 6 months before and when I brought them to sell - they wouldn't take them because they said they were outdated. Really??? Unprofessional & a waste of time I have always found this store pretty nice to shop in; HOWEVER, I will never sell with them again. It took them a few hours to sift through the container & when I returned, it was still full, as if they had taken nothing from it. They handed me $20. I couldn't tell what they decided upon & was not given good reason as to why they didn't accept the other items. Not impressed in the slightest. I have had nothing but bad experiences at this specific location in Apex. I agree with a previous post regarding the red headed woman who looked to be "in charge" and yelling at the staff. This location seems to employ nothing but teenagers. And I mean freshman type teenagers. One girl was wearing super short skin tight "shorts", tanktop showing her midriff with her tattoo fully showing on her very well displayed cleavage, and neon fake nails. not impressed Okay to shop here, but must be willing to go through the stuff to weed out cheap clothing/not-so-clean toys. Horrible to sell to because you DO get less money than other consignment stores, the sales staff IS rude and abrasive, and not a very good experience in general. I have sold there several times and vow not to again!!
HORRIBLE I went into that store for the first time last week, and I noticed that the management has an attitude with both the customers and the staff. I do not recommend going to kid to kid, they barely pay anything for the clothes I brought them, and they took long enough to go through them! The red headed lady, I think she is the manager was the worst. While checking me out, she decides to yell at employees! Take my advice, do not shop or consign there
Kid To Kid is kind of a rip-off. I've dropped stuff off several times to Kid to Kid and always get about the same amount of money back no matter what. It doesn't matter how good the quality if or how shabby the clothing. I think they pay you per piece (that they'll take) regardless. One time I had a basket fulll of things worn one time for pictures. Kid To Kid is awful DISHONEST! I dropped off items to sell, with an appointment, and was told that there had been a mix up and they wouldn't be able to look over my items for 2 1/2 hours (not the one hour they promised when I made the appt.). You can't stay and watch while they go through your items so I requested that they please not take just half of any outfit - they assured me they wouldn't. Love this store! THough I have never consigned there, I do like to shop there. The quality of the items they resale is amazing with prices that can't be beat! I was able to purchase several gifts for my children that looked new, all for under $20!
Great store! I love to shop here. They have great prices on kids clothes, shoes, toys, and equipment. I have almost always found what I am looking for at half (or less) the price it is in the retail stores. The items have always been in good condition, with no complaints about quality from me. They have a discount card, and often run coupons in the Triangle flier that they even keep in the store.
