Very impressed with food and sevice. The waiter was fantastic. The decor is lovely. So warm feeling. Of course the Sunday "on the house" was grately appreciated. I will definitely be back very soon. So good to see a restaurant in that area of the city be so successful.
Really good grilled octopus and that gelato Sunday was great - and it wasn't even my birthday. Nate was a fun, knowledgeable server.
I was really looking forward to brunch at Kid Cashew today, but won't be returning. The ambience was great and our server was attentive. However, our request to substitute scrambled eggs for over-easy was apparently too complex for the kitchen. After placing our order, the manager came out to tell us the kitchen won't scramble the eggs (upon further inquiry, nor would they cook it any other way to avoid a runny yoke). With so many options for brunch in Charlotte, this is not how you attract customers.

We had a wonderful experience at Kid Cashew. We had the the hummus, octopus, lamb, and the trout on our visit. The lamb was delicious and cooked perfectly. Very tender and juicy. The sweetness and flavor jumped right out of each bite. We will definitely be returning in the future.
