It's really off putting when you walk in and wait for a while with no host/hostess to greet you. A waitress finally came up to the front saying she didn't know where the host was. He finally shuffled up before she could seat us. He didn't say anything. Just kinda looked around and shuffled along to a booth to seat us, all the while saying nothing to us. The waitress was good. I first tried to go to Jack's on battleground avenue. After 12 minutes no one approached my table to serve me, so I got up and left and went to the New garden road kickback Jack's. They already had the hockey game on and I was served almost immediately. Thank you Jessica! I've started with a bowl of their chili with added red onion and lots of pepper.
