nice place, sushi is good snd the combo deals are nice. just got back from japan and was disappointed by the karage, it was not Japanese style and just not good. kinda like a sawdust flavour. im guessing its cooked chicken that they fry because it was really quickly prepared and not juicy. service was great and atmosphere and location is pretty good.
The food, in our experience, was good and tasty. Good value for the money paid. Service was also good if tardy due to clear understaffing. The issue was definitely the unacceptable state of the washroom and to a lesser extent the cleanliness of the restaurant itself. The washroom was dirty showing that maintainance was not a problem for just that day. The toilet bowl was simply disgusting. Never got my takeout order. Standing there forever and nobody helps. I showed them my order was ready for pickup according to the service they use (doordash) and nobody seemed to know anything. Unfortunate I cannot even say anything about the food since I never got it!
Had a great experience on Birthday lunch for a family member. Every item we ordered - from Salmon Bento Box, Tempura Tofu to Sushi - was nice. They got us a free birthday candle on a cheesecake (paid one).
