I am deeply disappointed by the experience I had at this location. The restaurant floors were BLACK dirty, stained, and slippery — completely unacceptable for a relatively new establishment. Customer service was equally poor. I ordered my meal, waited approximately ten minutes for it to be prepared, and then sat at a table to eat. This store was amazing before! I used to always come with my wife and we would eat sushi. But now, they hired a new Indian worker and she doesn’t comprehend anything. She has messed up my order several times and she doesn’t understand half of what’s on the menu. She works at a Japanese restaurant, but she can’t even understand English. Absolutely wouldn’t order again. I have tried other Kibo sushi restaurants and the mount pleasant is the one that will drag the name down. I ordered on Uber eats for 2 items. The tuna tartar and the squid karaage tempura. Both were underwhelming and disappointing. To start the squid was excessively greasy, cold and nothing at all like the image on uber. I went in there to ask to use the washroom after being a long term customer of this establishment and was refused despite them seeing it was an emergency (which I went into another store next to them and was permitted immediately being a frequent customer there too).
