I was hoping he was worth the 8 month wait to see him! Unfortunately he was not! Didn’t listen and was zero help!
Dr. Khurana diagnosed my neurally mediated hypotension via Heads Up Tilt Table (HUTT), by my 4th visit. None of my other physicians could put my symptoms together for a proper diagnosis. Even with a lupus diagnosis prior to. Now he heals me manage via 6mo follow up visits. He’s very knowledgeable and compassionate, but he shoots straight. He will NOT just tell you what you want to hear. He will help you help yourself, patients need to understand that the patient/doctor relationship is a team effort.
I’ve been seeing Dr Khurana for 18 years for POTS. He listens intently and educates me on things at every visit. He takes time to answer all questions. Appointments are never rushed and I have complete trust in him. I can’t imagine seeing anyone else for my POTS.
It took me a long time to get in to see Dr Khurana but the wait is worth it and explained when you realize he spends massive amounts of time with each patient. My first appt was 2-3 hours long and subsequent appointments 30-60 minutes each - he gives each patient his full attention. He is one of those rare doctors that is both brilliant and kind. He truly cares about his patients and will not stop until he feels he has helped you.
This office is completely unorganized. I waited over a year for an appointment and when I arrived they had canceled and given my appointment to someone else. I then waited several more months for them to schedule testing. They were so unorganized they kept skipping me for testing! Then at my follow up appointment they had misplaced part of the results. Just completely unacceptable to do business like this. After all that still no help with treatment. Please don't waste your time!
Dr. Khurana has served as the neurologist for three members of my family. His patience and depth of knowledge would make it definite that I would recommend him to others. I already have!
Dr. Khurana is a wonderful doctor. I have been searching for a doctor who had experience with my condition for years since my old doctor retired. I finally found it with Doctor Khurana. The list to see Doctor Khurana can be long but it is totally worth it. He is extremely detailed with his testing and is very thorough. He diagnosed conditions I have within a year when it took the other doctors 6 years. I would recommend him to anyone. With his help I see hope in controlling my condition.
I was diagnosed with POTS and after seen numerous doctors and tried different medications with no test done finally i found a doctor who is willing to listen and answered all my questions. The first thing that he told me was "Don't worry i will do all i can to find the cause of your symptoms". For the first time a doctor who didnt told me that my symptoms were anxiety and that actually knows what POTS is.
