ABSOLUTELY THE BEST OF THE BEST!! Dr. Khan is the only Dr. I will see for my RA. I’ve been to other Dr.’s for my RA and they just don’t compare. Dr. Khan is very knowledgeable and has helped my RA so much. I have now been his patient for over 8 yrs. He is very thorough and takes his time. I never feel rushed. I have been a patient of Dr. Khan's for over a decade & would not like to see anyone else. I also like his new PA, like Dr. Khan, she is caring & really listens to you. If you have a question just ask either of them. I am not one who is very trusting so the 5 stars here in my books are 10. Every once in awhile there can be a long wait time - could be waiting on the lab, phone calls &/or other visits that run a little long but that's ok because I know that he will spend the time needed with me. I love him he is a wonderful doctor knows his stuff and listen to his patients just afraid of not being able to see him and having to see a p.a all the time
One time he's friendly, another time he practically ignores. They once had to fit me in the day before he was leaving on vacation and it was plain he was irritated he had to come in. One of the meds was making me very sick . He shrugged and said, "don't take it", and went out! He's just about prescribing meds.
Dr Khan himself, is usually very friendly to me. Very professional but can be hard to understand at times. The girl I have talked to that answers the phone seems to act aggravated every time I call with a question or need something. That truly frustrates me. They also helped trying to move me to the new doctor in the office. I did not care for her at all. This Dr. (Khan) left me in alot of pain after he did my kidney stone removal. Didnt give me any pain meds after the surgery, had the surgery on tuesday i was back in the hospital on that Friday. I was throwing up i was in so much pain. I was then admitted into a different hospital in Ada , ok because Dr Khan left tissue blocking my tubes to make it feel as if there were another stone in me, left me very obstructed, and left a lot of (unknown) fluid around my right kidney . Dr. Khan was professional, succinct and friendly. He is a keen observer and some may think that he comes off a bit short, but I think it is because he is building a case in his mind as he gathers information from the patient, considering the options and treatment possibilities. I found him to be quite cordial and concerned for my care.
I have seen Dr Khan for a couple of years. Although he is knowledge he has a superior condescending attitude and the wait time at his office is terrible. Yesterday I waited an hour in the lobby and another half hour in the room before he came in. Then he spent only 5-10 mins with me. He doesn't make eye contact and his answers are hard to understand and if u try to clarify his answer he acts like you're stupid. THIS WAS A TYPICAL VISIT.
