Very disappointed. Did not take my MRI *documented* spinal issues seriously, and suggested I just go to therapy. Classic "you're a hysterical woman" dismissal.
I saw Dr Hammoud after my stroke and I found him very helpful. I never saw the NP, my appointments were always with him. He was persoanble and listened to me and answered my questions.
Zero would be my rating for this so called Neurologist! LATE always , He can't see past the end of his own nose to help his patients and does not look for a cause only wants to treat a symptom or throwing meds at you just to get you out of his office like your a waste of his time very rude and his nurse Deb can't seem to return voice mails when you leave her one! He is very arrogant, self centered cares more about his looks than his patients.they have a patient portal no one responds to
I have been for Dr. Hammoud on two separate nerve problems and have been very satisfied with him both times. I find him friendly and willing to work with you. I had lyrica the first time and thought it too expensive although it worked, so this time I asked to try gabapentin which is generic. He was quite amenable.
You will not see Dr. Hammoud unless it is for an EMG. His NP sees everyone else. She told me our daughter was fine as far as they were concerned and if she was not interested in taking a pill to treat a symptom, there was nothing they could do to help her. They also could not offer suggestions on where to look next for help with my daughters hands (numbness, tingling, pain and cold). I have never experienced such an unhelpful, flippant response from a doctor's office.
impersonal and appear to want to get done asap
It took him 2-3 minutes to tell me I had Alzheimer's disease. Asked no questions, answered no questions.
