Agree completely with the poster from 2022. Khadija diagnosed me as Bipolar after 10 minutes despite the fact that I've never had a manic or hypomanic episode in my life (a required criterion), which led her to give me the wrong medication, with serious side effects. She only provided brief, medication-related checkups by video. And she was repeatedly late providing refills for medication. I told the all of this to the CEO of Inland Psychiatric Medical Group, Nandita Puchakayala, MD; she didn't seem to care.
Review of Khadija Hamisi, I’ve been seeing this psychiatrist, or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, since November 2024, and my experience has been very disheartening. She repeatedly rescheduled appointments last minute, ignored my messages and calls for weeks, and only responded after I followed up multiple times. Infantilizing, could not answer questions clearly, does not seem to understand/ take into account the impacts of social and physical health on mental health and response to treatment.
Dr. Khadija Hamisi is kind and patient. Really enjoyed my first visit with her and looking forward to continuing my treatments with her.
