Came here with my husband and tried several meats from the menu. We really enjoyed the brisket and sausage, with the bbq sauce, it was delicious. The pita bread and tahini that came with it was also very good. We did not get sides but plan to come back and try them and the brisket pita. The food came out fast and the gentleman who took our order was very nice. The chicken thighs and ribs were seasoned well with spices and were okay.
Looks absolutely stunningly good BUT HOLy MOLLY it was SALTY. I thought i was eating straight up salt. Was thinking maybe it was just the part I had but no, the entire meal was salty. Kinda wasted money and time cause I was very excited but was very disappointed. The lamb was the only one that wasn’t overly seasoned with salt.
KG BBQ is a great spot — known for blending Texas BBQ with Egyptian flavors. The beef short rib and brisket get a lot of love. Worth the drive from Houston for sure.
The brisket and lamb chops were good. The brisket bowl was a bit salty.
