I saw Dr. J to receive a ultrasound guided cortisone shot for a hip injury. Dr. J was GREAT!! He explained in detail what I could and could not expect from the shot. After examining me he gave me a few possibilities of why I’m still having pain in certain areas and what we should look into moving forward. Over the past 2yrs I’ve seen 4+ doctors. Dr. J is one of the few who took the time to explain what and where the pain is coming from and what to plan on moving forward. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. J!!
Dr. J took the time to diligently assess my husband’s needs. We have tried several other institutions all whom have not taken the time to look into his specific concerns. Too many visits have shown lack of empathy or regard due to pain being such a subjective topic. Dr. J recommended my husband to get spinal cord stimulator which dramatically decreased his pain on his left lower extremity. Dr J provided a thorough exam and more importantly provided a clear explanation of complicated topics. Was not rushed and went out of his way to resolve some difficult insurance issues.
Dr. J is one of the most thoughtful and attentive doctors I've ever met. He was very upfront about his concerns regarding my back pain and requested an x-ray before making any diagnosis. When he reviewed my x-ray, he told me exactly what was causing my pain and recommended surgery and physical therapy. He gave me his number so I could call or text him if I had questions or concerns about either or needed advice to address my pain.
