Dr. Desai is truly a specialist! He takes the time necessary to listen to his patients, accurately diagnose their condition, and subsequently provide the best possible solution so they can return to normal function. With an impressive knowledge base and experience managing dozens of common and not so common conditions, I would recommend Dr. Desai to anyone looking for quality orthopedic care.
I don’t expect doctors to be 100% but I am very put off when I feel like they are not listening to what the patient and the patient’s body are saying, especially when the doctor turns out to be wrong. This was the case here and is the primary reason for the negative review. Bottom Line: insisted that there was no possibility that there could be a stress fracture in my 14-year-old daughter‘s back when in fact, there was a stress fracture that didn’t get discovered until we saw an orthopedic surgeon five months later. Dr. Desai has excellent bedside manners, knowledgable, and explained everything until we understood thoroughly. Although the medical center is out of the way, it’s worth the 45 minute drive to have his expertise in dealing with my son’s injury.
