I wouldn’t recommend living at the Willows, but unfortunately, it is currently one of the few (only currently) options for 1-bedroom apartments in the Kinston area. My biggest concerns have been with management. In my experience, management has been rude and difficult to work with, dismissive and there have been situations where I felt pressured by threats of fees or charges that I could not identify in my lease or resident ledger. I live in Westpointe apartments and Shawne Whitaker is an outstanding leasing office manager professional, patient, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. She communicates clearly, stays on top of details, and makes the whole leasing process feel smooth instead of stressful. You can tell she truly cares about residents and takes pride in keeping everything organized and welcoming. Westpointe Apartments would be lucky to have her she would be a perfect fit and a real asset to the Westpointe apartments community.
