The facility is clean, the nurses attentive. The rooms are tiny and people are mere feet away from each other. It makes for a depressing box full of very aged folk. My dad is just there temporarily and is the youngest one there. The solarium is small and full of people who are not interacting. The hallway is completely crowded with carts and wheelchairs and there is only one handicapped accessible bathroom in the place.
They are very ruff with their patients, and staff can be very offensive.
I was referred to The Laurel Center by the school counselor at BHL Day School. She told me that all the therapists there were professional and experienced. She especially recommended Sandrah Henry LMFT. I am so happy with the services I am receiving. She is an excellent therapist and has helped me with issues related to childhood trauma and how these issues are impacting my parenting. I love the feeling of the clinic.
