This is for the KeyMe kiosk at Walmart in Plano, Texas at Independence and Legacy. I had a horrible experience. The machine took my money and produced a key that's nearly blank. There's no way the key will work. The machine didn't cut any "teeth" into the key. I complained to the front end manager and he essentially said it's not our equipment - call the 888 number on the machine. I did and of course they were out of office. Unprofessional company. They drilled.to get into my house scraping the door. Had to call a second person to install a new dead bolt and that guy put a hole in my sidewall during installation. Didn't repair any of it and no clean up. Cost out yhe door $430. Called to ask to speak to management and am still waiting to hear back three weeks later. Avoid this company.

they cannot duplicate Best style sfic keys. False advertisement saying virtually any key when they can only copy the regular shlage and quickset keys. The same ones that any hardware store can do for less $$. Thumbs down.

Doesn't know that their own kiosks CANNOT make duplicates of Mul-T-Lock keys; swore the opposite. Also, passed me on to 24 Hour Locksmith (Services), which gave me a higher price once they arrived, and then did a horrible job (actually not even completing it). KeyMe should NOT be recommending that particular service. Never again will I use either business.

I called for a back door that wouldn't lock. I was told $29 for service call and I had to send a picture ID and credit card authorization prior. Service tech fist called to say it's a very expensive 3 point lock even prior to taking it apart and it will cost $850 to repair. NO break down of parts and labor so I refused service. He called me back 2 minutes later to lower the price to $500, said he had all the parts and could do it that same day. This company is super fraudulent. They use bait and switch at their kiosks and offer a free key but it never dispenses no matter how many kiosks you go to or how many times you try. In my attempts to simply get the three keys that I wanted (I would have happily paid for them) I had to call them up and have them refund me because the kiosks keep malfunctioning in this precise same way (curious). Terrible ! I called this morning looking for assistance, i locked myself out of my car at a gas station. The representative took all of my information and told me that a driver will be in contact. Never got a call the entire time, nor a follow up call if i have been serviced. Luckily , someone at the gas station was kind enough to do it themselves with a hanger ! Was able to make it to work on time NO thanks to KEY ME ! I wouldn't recommend this company, Just keep a spare key on you at all times to avoid the hassle ... read more
