I think I was over charged. I got 2 basic house keys and I was charged $25.00.
Saved me when I locked myself out! 7 years after I uploaded the copy of my key to Key Me, it was still in the system! I recovered my forgotten password and logged in! I just needed a credit/debit card to swipe since it didn't have tap to pay.
FYI this is a kiosk inside Vons. This thing is amazing. It scans your key and within minutes it cuts you a copy. Note that some of the edges it cuts aren’t deburred.
They sent a third party company (the numbers of the actual locksmiths are listed online as “Unlocka Locksmith” and “A Locksmith Near Me”) that said we owed them $630 after taking two hours to come unlock a door. On the phone they kept saying they were 10 minutes away. The men were aggressive and obviously scammers. Once I called KeyMe and was quoted $200 maximum the men changed their tune and said they would take $300. Once given $300 cash they then demanded another $330 over Zelle.
