The mashed potato salad on the bar is nothing like it used to be. not good at all !! this was alway my favorite place to eat. but the fish is overcook and the salad bar needs improvement. The service was fine. They were a little slow on getting food out. Hope they get better.
RecommendedRelaxing atmosphere, in town, good view and food has been good each time. when in Madison we make this one of our dinner stops.

We had an excellent lunch looking out over the Ohio River. Fried shrimp, crab cakes and grilled oysters, and thanks to our waitress, Amanda, we always had extra cold beer!

Waited 40 for cold food and price was too high.
Oh my gosh, this place has gone way down hill! The salad bar was subpar. Halibut was frozen prior to serving and the Hollandaise tasted like straight butter. The Shrimp Scampi entree is $20 and has 8 pieces of quarter sized frozen shrimp. Massively disappointed in what was previously a wonderful experience. And not to mention the Merlot was Sutter Home and $5 a glass. I can buy the whole bottle for $9!
The food was tasty and I love the view of the river there. Reasonably priced, too.
The seafood was amazing but they have steak and chicken too!
