Got 2 packages of meat Sunday night, went to the store to return it but initially didn’t have my receipt. Was immediately reprimanded because meat shouldn’t go bad in 24 hours (first off never did I say I got it 24 hours ago, secondly, the sell by date is the 13th so in no world should 2 packages of meat bought recently BOTH gray like that.) I bought a bottle of Trickling Springs milk. The cashier told me to bring the bottle back to get back my $3 deposit. When I did bring the bottle, they told me they won't give me back the deposit unless I buy more of the same milk, which makes no sense. That's not how deposits work!!! Will be returning that bottle to Whole Foods and doing my shopping over there from now on!

We are locals and Key Food is our go to super market. 4 separate occasions in the last 2 months we have gotten spoiled meat. 2 times were Bell and Evan’s chicken breast, 1 time was Dartagnan ground Turkey, and one time Dartagnan chicken thigh. We don’t understand how this has happened multiple times over the last few months and the brands/ types of meat have been different. There is clearly a temperature issue. All of these items were considered “good” based on sell by dates. Something needs to be done.
