Fabulous place, welcome vibe, awesome staff and great location.. Germaine and Heather were standouts! Coffee in the courtyard was super special. Would give 5 stars but we missed having a common kitchen or easy fridge/microwave access.
I was excited about staying here with all the raving reviews, but cancelled my booking due to false information on charges. The hotel's official website gave me a quote of $239.90 (everything included) for a 4-night stay for 1 bed in a 16-bunkbed room. I gave my credit card information and made my reservation. However, the email confirmation of my booking stated a different total amount due ($263.90 with no clear breakdown). We came up from Los Angeles to visit our daughter and had a wonderful stay at the Kex Hotel. The hotel accommodations are absolutely wonderful. In particular, the front desk clerk, Christian, was AMAZING. He was ever so helpful, engaging, and knowledgeable. He gave us a great introduction to the hotel and its history. He's a gem!
