We have the best Deli in town and the only Juicer in our area.

Health Food Store/Organic/Whole Foods Terrific selection of organic/health foods ~ even cheeses and veggies/fruits (organic). Prices are a little high but if you buy more than $85 a month it is worth it to purchase their discount card to get 2% off your every purchase. I am not sure if they sell meat there or not ~ if so, I haven't seen any. We mainly purchased boxed organic food there and go to the other grocery store in town to get produce. A Great Local Landmark--Good Stuff! This is a very nice co-op, easily comparable to anything Ann Arbor or other larger cities might have to offer. The organic produce is generally quite fresh and the deli counter offers creative lunch and meal options. They also have a bulk herb and tea area that is unsurpassed by anything I've seen in other stores. Nice selection I really enjoy shopping at the Keweenaw Co-op. They have a nice variety of all natural foods and products and also a nice variety of organic items as well. The prices are a bit high, but that is expected with organic and all natural items, and the benefits of eating healty far out weigh the higher costs. They also have a nice selection of nuts and vegetarian food! The workers are friendly as well. They do offer a 2% discount if you join the co-op. Parking is a bit tight if you have a larger vehicle.

RecommendedCOOP grocery stores are a special place generally speaking but I feel very lucky that the COOP in my home town is quaint, well-run, friendly and a good friend of the family!
