Food was good. Waited 15 minutes to be seated than another 15 minutes and no service, finally had to ask if someone was working the table then 5 minutes later a lady shows up with lame excuse. After placing our order an HOUR and 10 minutes before food arrived. It was good food, but will never go back.
Worst meal ever!!! Fried Fish was salty, crab cakes were gross. The absolute worst cocktail sauce ever!! Paid $70 for garbage!I will never go back!!
Absolutely appalling, have been a customer for years, boiled king crabs had a spoiled smell, were uneatable asked to speak with manager who did not take the time to come to the table, waitress replaced bad food with gumbo and then had audacity to charge for spoiled food. Awful! Will not return, customers not important to management. Will spread the message!!!!
We were at Kevin's on the 27th of August and their food was better than all the raves!! Their food was the greatest and I have eaten in many other places!! Their eggplant was very delicious anf my wife had crayfish Bisque which was amazing!!! Great service and price for the food you were served!!!Our waitress Kelsie was very wekk trained and a great server!!! I shaLL RETURN!!!
While passing through on a business trip at LSU a friend brought me to Kevin's! My dinner was awesome - Chicken Lafette ... My first ever taste of Crawfish Étouffée. Our waitress was awesome, friendly and welcoming and all our meals amazing! Wish you were closer to Vermont!
The service was horrible. We waited an hour for our table but I can accept that easily if there is a crowd for great food. Then an hour and 45 minutes for our food. The waitress completely ignored us. Then my grilled shrimp tasted like straight cayenne and after sending it back they washed it with water and the water was still on my plate! The eggplant is horrible also. We will never go back. Total time spent there was 4 plus hours for horrible food and service. Ruined our night.
Service isn't great. For the amount of food and the quality the price is way too high. I would rather drive to springfield and eat at charlie's!
I'm from Texas and was passing through Louisiana and searching for a good Cajun restaurant. I found it! Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. My husband and I especially loved the shrimp stew. If you love seafood gumbo, as we do, then I urge you to try the shrimp stew. It tastes similar to gumbo, but 50 times better!
