Dr. Kasten is knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything I needed to know about the surgery so I would know what to expect. He has a good bed side manner and felt that he really cared. I would recommend him to anyone who is in need of surgery. My surgery was initially delayed due to a heart stent. It has been 2 and a half weeks since my surgery and I feel well enough to exercise tonight. I plan on taking my dog on a 2 mile walk. I no longer need pain medication and I feel healthier each day. To be completely honest, in the beginning I was very skeptical — and that’s just me telling my truth. I’ve gone through many surgeries in the same area, being cut open or drained multiple times, to the point where I just didn’t trust anyone anymore.
