Dr. Smith is a great surgeon. I replaced my left shoulder a couple of years ago. I could not be more pleased with the result. Also he is one of the nicest, friendliest people I know.
Dr Kevin Smith is among the worst doctors I have encountered. Both of my rotator cuffs were fully torn in 1989 at a University of Washington swimming pool. Life guards saw the injury happen and wanted to call an ambulance. Having no insurance, I refused. Fast forward to 2000-2005 I was a patient of Dr Smith. He was rude, belligerant and demeaning. Elbow surgery was a great experience. Smith is funny, personable, enthusiastic and explained everything. Recovering now and all seems well. If you are looking for an old, fuddy-duddy, boring doc this isn't your guy. He can be a bit irreverent and earthy, but he is awesome.
