I was referred to this group for difficulty swallowing. Dr. Kuettel quickly decided I was a worrier, likely only from being a middle-aged female with changing hormones. He literally patted my hand & gave me an Rx for Xanax after no more than a 2 min. history - no physical exam. I’ve since had a Heller Myotomy with fundoplication repair for the esophageal disorder ‘Achalasia’ as diagnosed by a much more competent gastroenterologist. The office is always very busy and have ran behind both times I have been. However, Dr. Kuettel was helpful and knowledgeable. He did not rush the appointment and answered all of my questions.
He was totally rude and uncaring for my problem. Did not give clear instructions and when I later tried to clarify when I met him in the hallway, he raised his voice at me, said a few things which did not help at all, and walked away. I didn't get anything from this visit and had to pay $120 for the deductible. Just because I'm a foreigner, doesn't mean this attitude can be shown. This is the worst doctor I've ever visited!!!
Dr. Kuettel was absolutely wonderful. This was my first time seeing him, and he was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. I would recommend him to all my friends and family!
Dr. Kuettel did my surgery. Both he and the hospital staff were courteous, knowledgeable and professional. During my follow up visit both Dr. Kuettel and the office staff were cordial, prompt and effective.
I had an appt scheduled 3 weeks prior. The doctor never showed up. His staff called him & he said he cancelled the appt. When I complained and said I'd never come back to this doctor, the staff said this is common for this doctor. I had the appt to get test results and had driven 45 minutes to get to the Dr. office. A nurse practitioner in the office gave me my results but I will find another internal medicine doctor to get treatment.
