I had a phone appt today w Dr. Lee. 72 year old, recently with sick grandchildren and had fever of 101.8-102 last night. Wondering if I should take Tamiflu or get tested. I have had covid, RSV and flu vaccines. Neg covid test at home. No fever this morning; no aches this morning. He suggested Tamiflu anyway. I asked "Why?" , specifically, if no test showing I had flu or which kind of flu and if no fever, aches, etc. today would it be worth it to take Tamiflu with possible side effects just b/c I had a fever last night? Had an over the phone appointment with him today regarding my arthritis pain and he was quick to get off the phone and tell me to talk to my rheumatologist and when I explain to him that she isn’t getting back to me. He hung up the call and on my aftercare summary it states that he told me follow up face to face is my symptoms get worse. I received none of that information. He simply just hung up.
