My husband had a knee replacement 1 month ago. Dr Himschoot never called or came to speak with me to tell me how the surgery went and what to expect even after multiple requests for him to call. On 2 separate occasions, my husband had to call the after hours number and no one called back. I do not recommend Dr Himschoot at all.
Dr. Himschoot is an exceptional doctor. He took the time to listen to all of my concerns and carefully addressed each one. His bedside manner is outstanding, and he is highly knowledgeable. I’m grateful to have him as my hip and knee doctor. If you're looking for a doctor with both knowledge and bedside manner, he's your guy.
The worst post surgery experience of my life. Dr Himschoot after surgery support was nonexistent. From day three after my knee replacement I had extreme foot pain… Every post surgery visit I expressed the extreme foot pain is constant even when I was trying to sleep. Time and time I expressed it is affecting my physical therapy which cased me to have a knee manipulation.
