I have been a patient since before I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Dr. Callerame was thankfully my doctor for other medical issues I was experiencing. He listens to your needs, gives excellent medical advice, & was a AWESOME advocate for me when another doctor was overstepping in my care. MS is a very hard autoimmune disease to live with & the medication that treats it requires certain things. When you are newly diagnosed naturally you are not aware but your Neurologist is. My trust was already there. I have been a ... read more
Dr Callerame is an amazing Neurologist I have been a patient of his for over 17 years. However, his NP Sharon Jackson is the worst. She does not care about the patient at all and would allow the patient to leave the office in a bad mental state. Just does not care at all. I would suggest not making an appt with her if you can't see him. Make one with his PA instead.
Dr. Callerame is thorough, but not a wonderful listener. He did take his time during the appointment without seeming rushed, but he doesn't really seem to listen closely to what the patient is saying. I agree with the reviewer that said the supporting staff is not great. Dr. Callerame's MA, Dewane, is borderline rude, impatient, and definitely makes you feel like you are an imposition if you call with any questions or concerns. She just makes me uncomfortable. Front desk staff are not the friendliest either. Clinic atmospher... read more
I would not recommend Dr. Callerame. Th We had three appointments with him. The patient was very nervous about the procedure and wanted to go through everything beforehand. He was somewhat willing to do so, but upon hearing the patient didn’t want to do part of it he shut down listening and said sure. He explained what was going on with the patient’s movement And upon hearing that the patient agreed. He then said he wouldn’t do that part of the procedure, period. Upon the final visit, he stated he couldn’t do that part of th... read more
He listens to your concerns. He is a great doctor who is personable. He has worked with me since my headaches aren't the usual. Highly recommend. He treats me for headaches, my mom for tremors, and my dad for Parkinson's. I was very impressed with the way he explained the treatments and Parkinson's to my Dad.
His staff needs serious training in dealing with the patients. Carolyn (I think that’s her name) is very rude. I can’t believe that she is setting up appointments she shouldn’t be in any positions to deal with people. When talking to others about this doctor, the first thing others say is about the rudeness of his front office staff. (That man and that woman)
The best nero doctor I ever meet in the state of Louisiana
He's the best doctor he a very caring person he makes sure your health come first. I would recommend him to my family and friends.
