I visited Dr. Hodge last year and received a cortisone shot in my shoulder for excruciating pain. I was very satisfied with that visit, as the shot provided me with nearly a year of relief. However, I recently returned for another shot as the same pain had returned, and I left feeling very disappointed. Dr. Hodge was dismissive and belittling, telling me “you can’t get this shot every 3 months,” even though I explained it had been a full year since my last injection. Dr Hodge was very attentive to what I was feeling asked me how I felt about the treatment and what we should go from there. He's a true professional and cares and truly wants to help those in need of his expertise
Dr. Hodge has explained the process well for my ACL injury. Surgery went well with not much pain after and two days later I was starting physical therapy. Although recovery is a long slow process Dr. Hodge has always let me know timeframes to expect.
Dr. Hodge was great as usual! Offers possible options but focuses on the best treatments for the betterment of his patients. BTW, if he keeps bulking up, he might need a bigger exam room 😉!
