Dr. Gioia is wonderful, a very caring doctor. You are treated with the utmost respect as a patient, not just a number. He is pleasant, easy to talk with, answers all questions. He explains every part of any procedure he will be doing. His office staff is fantastic also.
In today’s current doctor/patient relationship, when the doctor is overly pressured to see too many patients, Dr. Gioia stands out from the pack, and not only spends ample time with his patients (me), but gives the patient all he/she needs and wants to know. He imparts his medical knowledge in a manner that the patient feels that he understands the problem and is fully willing to work for a solution. I recommend him 100%. And, not incidentally, he resolved my issue fully.
Did not return call with results of bladder test for 2 weeks. Only wanted to do surgery. Did not review options.
If you are considering urogynecological surgery, Dr Gioia is an amazing surgeon. He explained everything to me, answered all of my questions, and was very honest about recovery time. A true professional.
Dr. Gioia is an excellent physician. I am extremely impressed by his knowledge and ability to explain thoroughly your diagnosis, treatment options and prognosis. He has a comfortable and caring bedside manner. He makes you feel unrushed and takes the time to answer all of your questions. His staff is friendly and professional. He performed my surgery with outstanding results. I definitely recommend him and will refer friends and family who may need his services.
I have recommended Dr. Gioia to several of my friends! I have some very caring and thoughtful physicians, but Dr. Gioia is the most caring, thoughtful physician I have ever had! I will continue to recommend him to family and friends.

Dr. Gioia has my highest recommendation if you are looking for a Urologist. He is efficient, thorough and makes sure he discusses the plan and reasoning behind his treatment. Great follow up and quick call back if needed.
Dr Gioia made me feel comfortable right from the start. He explained in detail so I could understand and answered my questions to my satisfaction. He was very kind and compassionate. My husband, who is a tough critic, was impressed. Coming from surgery for my hip I was nervous but he put me at ease.
