Dr. Walker doesn’t need to be in pain management. He’s not interested in actually helping anyone manage pain even when all other avenues have been explored.
If I could give zero stars I would. DON’T WAIST YOUR TIME or MONEY with Doctor Walker. Read all his reviews. I was referred to Dr. Walker from my Neurosurgeon, Dr. Kanos due to a neck injury after a car wreck. Dr. Kanos advised steroid shots to assist in the massive amount of pain I was in. I believe Dr Walker means well, but he does not listen. He suggested back exercises which I explained I’ve already tried with formal PT and home exercises. I was referred to him by my orthopedic Dr to specifically discuss lumbar injections b/c I’m at my wits end with this back pain. I was saddened to leave the office with no advice except to keep up my back exercises and use more of my Voltaren gel :( Getting a second opinion.
Kevin Burton Walker is very unprofessional in his exams, there wasn’t even a nurse present. He was Very opinionated about MY own pain and wouldn’t even consider ordering test so that I could prove it. Even suggested that it is in my head. This man should be investigated.
