Felt rushed and not cared for. Don’t recommend
The absolute worst experience at a doctors office. Dr. Kevin Bockholt was extremely rude, undermining and unprofessional. He would not only disregard patients symptoms, but would go on to cause the patient more pain after the office visit with no medication. His nursing assistant, Raquel, may have even been worse. Not only disregarding what the patient was saying, but also the nurse case manager who was the absolute sweetest in this scenario. If I could give zero stars I would for Raquel.
Extremely rude physician with terrible bedside manner. He did not explain any part of the assessment and showed a lack of respect for privacy, leaving the door wide open. Removed my shoes and socks without informing or asking me to do so myself. Also refused to provide a step to help me onto the table, dismissing my request despite my height. I felt uncomfortable and dismissed throughout the appointment. Would not recommend and will not return.
I don’t like to write negative reviews, but I had a terrible experience with this neurologist and I feel potential patients should know what to expect. I saw him for concussion symptoms I was experiencing as the result of a car accident. The evaluation felt rushed, he seemed annoyed, and I felt judged the entire time. I hate to leave negative reviews but when it comes to a doctor, especially one as important as a neurologist, I felt it was necessary. Sure, Dr. Bockhold takes very thorough notes - this is because he does not stop typing the entire time you are talking with him. His bedside manner is beyond awful, worse than I knew was possible for a doctor. He has no empathy what-so-ever. I went in to see him with a very concerning problem.
